Who we are

Flipsie is a mobile app that helps users evaluate the resale value of items. This website (flipsie.app) is operated by Oliver Shooter.

What data we collect

When you join our waitlist, we collect:

• Your email address — so we can notify you when Flipsie launches
• Signup timestamp — when you joined the waitlist

That's it. We don't use cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics on this page.

How we use your data

Your email is used solely to:

• Send you product updates about Flipsie
• Notify you when the app launches

We will never sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties.

Where your data is stored

Your email is stored securely in a Supabase database. Supabase infrastructure is hosted on AWS in the EU (Frankfurt, eu-central-1). Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

Your rights (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Erasure — ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Withdraw consent — unsubscribe at any time

Legal basis for processing

We process your email address based on your consent, given when you tick the checkbox and submit the waitlist form. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.

Data retention

We keep your email until Flipsie launches and you've been notified, or until you ask us to remove it — whichever comes first. If Flipsie is discontinued before launch, we will delete all waitlist data.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we'll change the "last updated" date above. For significant changes, we'll notify you by email.
